Riffmaster Pro Review

Website Reviewed: Riffmaster Pro

When I was a teenager I would get cassette tapes of Chuck Berry and play them over and over until I could play the solos. Never quite perfected it of course.

The other way to learn complicated guitar parts in those days was to get the 45 rpm record of the song and play it at 33 rpm. This played it at about half the speed but also and half the pitch.

So when I saw Riffmaster Pro I immediately knew that it was something that I would really use.  What it does is slow down the music but keeps it at the same pitch.

It means you can really nail any guitar solo note for note without the frustration.

But not just that.

By hearing the music slower, you can actually hear the nuances of the players technique and incorporate that into your learning too. You can also loop little tricky bits so you can just keep playing them until you get them right.

Is This Some Kind Of Scam Software?

No. This is the real deal. It's a great piece of software that any guitarist should own. Remember though, at time of writing it's a Windows only program - sorry Mac people :(

Also, you need to get some DRM ripping software to play songs bought from iTunes.

It comes with some nice little bonuses too so I'd recommend you check it out. Goodness knows I would have killed for this when I was trying to learn Chuck Berry solos.
