The Gretsch G5810 Bo Diddley has a unique design and belongs to the Electromatic Signature Series of Gretsch. It comes in a funky red color which shouts out clear and loud.
The main features of the Gretsch G5810 Bo Diddley is its solid body and its rectangular shape. It has a scale length of 25.5” which is equivalent to 648 mm. It has a laminated hardwood body with N/A bracing. It has a maple neck and a Luan body which is 17 3/4” long, 9 3/4” wide and 1 5/8” deep. It has 2 chrome hum bucking pickups, and pickup switching in three positions – bridge pickup, neck pickup, and bridge and neck pickup.
For the purpose of adjusting the volume it has master volume adjustment, master tone adjustment and two volume control adjustments near the neck pickup and bridge pickup. It has nut width of 1 11/16” which is 43 mm. It also has a rosewood fret board and wrap-around adjustable bridge.
With the usual Gretsch high quality parts, it has chrome plated hardware. In addition to the red color it has gloss urethane finish. You even get an optional G2010 Gig Bag for few extra dollars to keep it safe when not in use.
The Gretsch G5810 Bo Diddley has chrome plated Die-Cast tuners which are very durable. The optional case protects it from dust and moisture.
