Build Skills to be Proud of with Learn Guitar Software
Want to be able to play guitar like Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn?
Many people are discovering that it is possible to learn guitar on your own, at your pace through computer software. The computer programs have replaced private lessons for many as a simple, affordable way to learn guitar.
The successful instruction programs will use a variety of methods to teach the guitar. Software programs employ written instructions along with charts and video demonstrations. Many of the programs are also interactive using fun jam sessions to help you develop your skills.

The important thing to remember is that none of the programs are going to turn you into a guitar hero overnight; you still need to put in the time to practice.
One of the reasons many people lose interest in guitar and never learn to play is that they become bored with the lessons. Performing the scales or same old chord progressions can be very monotonous and many times once eager students quickly lose interest.
Guitar software programs do an excellent job of keeping the lessons entertaining as well as informative. Most of the teaching programs have been refined for years by top instructors who rely on what has worked well with their students in the past.
Learn and Master Guitar
One of the most intricate of the home instruction programs is Learn and Master Guitar by Steve Krenz. It combines online guitar help with a series of instructional DVD’s, play-a-long CD’s and an instruction book. It is billed as a step by step instruction guide that takes you from the beginning stages all the way through advanced instruction. Krenz says all you have to provide is the practice.
Jamorama - Get Immediate Access to software Lessons
Jamorama, the ultimate guitar learning kit, also gets great endorsements from people who have gone through the program to learn to play guitar. The kit includes instructional software along with famous songs and even tips on how to buy a guitar at less than dealer prices. Jamorama was created by an instructor who says he was fed up with the quality of the current courses on the market. Riffmaster Pro - Slow Down Solos So You Can Learn Them
This is one of my favourite software tools for learning guitar. It lets you slow down MP3s or CDs without changing the pitch. This means you can nail your favourite solos easily just by looping the section you want to learn and playing it over and over really slowly.
I really wish I had this 20 years ago when I was starting out! Read my full review of the Riffmaster Pro here
